HOW TO APPLY
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
- Should it be too warm (+ 20 C°) or the sun shines slightly on the window or the sticker is very large but you need to apply it, you can you can wet the window slightly with water before applying with a plant sprayer. Then wait at least 24 hours before removing the application tape.
- The sun should not shine on the window when you apply the window film. If the window is too hot, the window film cannot be repositioned. The window and air should be between 8-20 C° degrees. Tip: If the weather is warm, apply the sticker in the evening.
- In the unlikely event that an air bubble or spot is missed by rubbing the window film, you can gently push it away with your finger.
- After receiving your window film, store it lying flat and in a non-damp place. Do not otherwise roll or crease the window film.
- Sometimes extra frames or large open areas are still closed. This is so that you can easily/straighten the sticker. After applying the window film, you can remove it immediately.
- Make sure that there is enough light sources behind the window film, so it doesn’t look to dark from the outside. Especially if the glass of the windows are dark (hallway) and/or very reflective.
- Cutting the window film: Use a sharp Stanley knife/boxcutter and a metal anti-slip ruler, on top of the (window) film to protect the film from cutting inward into the (window) film itself. Press firmly on the ruler. Preferably a 2 men/women job. One cutting, one holding the ruler (a safety ruler, with a anti-slip back, works best).
- If you want to remove the window film in the future. We recommend warming the window film with a hairdryer. This will make the window film flexible and makes the window film easy to remove.
Application tape* = The adhesive paper (sticks) which is on the top of the window film.
